Michael Misciagna

Michael Misciagna is a Senior Software Engineer at Anzen Insurance since July 2023. Michael is responsible for engineering the frontend of the first risk management product that uses data from HR, payroll, and financial systems to help companies prevent management issues before they become claims.

Prior to that, from April 2023 to July 2023, they worked as a Frontend Engineer at Aperian Global. Michael'srole involved collaborating across a full stack to develop a DEI application that fosters inclusive environments and transforms mindsets within diverse organizations.

From September 2015 to March 2023, Michael worked at Google as a UX Engineer. Michael was responsible for building and maintaining all of YouTube's off-app websites, totaling 50+ million monthly users. Michael also worked as a CTC from April 2014 to September 2015, focusing on simplifying the lives of Creative designers and developers in getting Rich Media ads built and delivered via DoubleClick Studio. Additionally, they served as a Designer & Front-End Developer on Wildfire product from August 2012 to April 2014.

Before joining Google, Michael worked as a Designer & Front-End Developer at Wildfire Interactive from March 2011 to August 2012. Michael'sexpertise in designing and developing marketing websites and brand campaigns resulted in a $350M Google acquisition in 2012.

Michael's earlier experience includes roles as an Interaction Designer at TRAVELCLICK from March 2010 to March 2011, a Contract Graphic Designer at Universal Companies from November 2007 to January 2010, and a Graphic Designer at Kerosene Creative Services in May 2009.

Michael also worked as a Freelance/Intern Graphic Designer at Cartoon Network from June 2007 to August 2008, and as a Graphic Design Intern at Kingsport Times News from June 2006 to August 2006.

Michael Misciagna attended Savannah College of Art and Design from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus in Graphic Design.
