David Hirschfeld

Founder & CIO at Anzu

David’s software career spans 33 years with expertise in executive management, business consulting, software development and strategy, technical architecture, user experience engineering, and business development.

Initially focusing on the government sector for Texas Instruments and IBM mainframe software for Computer Associates, David later managed several major software consulting projects for Allied Signal, Motorola, Intel, and Arizona Public Service.

In the early 90’s, David founded and operated VendMaster Software Systems, an inventory management and route logistics software company for the snack food industry. Over the next 8 years, David grew VendMaster’s reach to over 800 companies in 22 countries managing the logistics and product distribution across many thousands of routes daily and inventory for hundreds of warehouses. VendMaster was sold in 2000 to a publicly held Canadian logistics firm where David remained for the next 2 years as VP of Product Strategy.

In 2006, David founded Tekyz, Inc., a software design & development firm, focus on the development of software solution for many verticals. He has helped design, plan, manage, implement and operate software solutions for a broad range of business sectors including healthcare, internet auctions, real estate investment management, logistics and inventory management, social networking, social media management, law enforcement, HUD subsidized housing management, and even Broadway productions. David became a founding partner and Chief Technology Officer for Anzu in 2011 to develop world class software solutions for healthcare. David currently sits on the board of 2 additional software companies.
