Mark Phelps

Mark Phelps is a co-founder of Art Research and Technology, L.L.C. (ART), Tradename ANZU®. ART and its subsidiary companies provide technological solutions for various aspects of information aggregation, curation, distribution, personalization, and informatics across a range of information and specialty knowledge domains.

Mr. Phelps oversees the Intellectual Property (IP) portfolios of ART, and the HIPAA and Privacy implementations, and other regulatory requirements for the ART’s product lines. Mr. Phelps is a co-inventor of 4 patents held by ART.

Born and raised overseas in a Foreign Service family Mr. Phelps studied Philosophy at the University of Arizona with emphasis in Epistemology, Ontology and Artificial Intelligence. Closely following the rise of computing over the past 30 year as an observer and participant have given Mr. Phelps a point of view on where and how the nexus between persons and technology can and should develop. In addition to his participation in the software companies of ART he has been involved in aircraft restoration, SETI, and polymath.
