David Grainger

David Grainger is a distinguished professor and chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah, where they also serve as a University Distinguished Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. With a robust background in medical device research and development, David has consulted extensively in biotechnology and drug delivery, while teaching and mentoring students since 2006. Their academic journey includes significant roles at prestigious institutions, such as serving as an advisor for the National Institutes of Health and being a Fulbright Scholar in New Zealand. David holds a Ph.D. from the University of Utah and completed postdoctoral research at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
