Alec Wild is a Senior Catastrophe Research Analyst at Aon, with over 10 years of experience in research and consultancy focused on natural hazards and climate change in Australia and New Zealand. Alec has previously worked as a Natural Hazards Risk Modeller at NIWA and a Natural Hazards and Risk Specialist at Tonkin + Taylor, where they led significant geospatial and risk modeling projects. Holding a PhD in Geology from The University of Auckland, Alec is also a Chartered Geographer (GIS) and has contributed to more than 20 peer-reviewed research articles in the field.
