Charles Hoop

Charles Hoop is an accomplished leader in technology sourcing and procurement, currently serving as the Global Lead for Technology Sourcing and Category Management at Aon since March 2018, where Charles manages a team of 31 professionals supporting a $2.1 billion technology spend. Previously at Accenture, Hoop was the Category Lead for IT Sourcing and Procurement, overseeing over $1 billion in technology spend and executing more than 200 sourcing events annually. Hoop's experience at UBS AG includes positions as Director of Cost Strategy and Strategic Sourcing, where significant savings were achieved, and as Director, Global Head of Data Center Sourcing, noted for negotiating vendor agreements across multiple global markets. Hoop’s earlier role as SVP of Operations Control at Cereplast demonstrated expertise in site selection and negotiations with government entities. Hoop holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Marketing from Miami University.
