Douglas Richmond

Douglas Richmond is a Senior Vice President at Lockton Companies, LLC, where they consult with law firm clients on professional responsibility and liability issues from suburban Kansas City. Richmond joined Lockton in February 2024 after retiring as a Managing Director at Aon, where they led loss prevention activities and services across various professions. Prior to Aon, Richmond was a partner at Armstrong Teasdale LLP, recognized as the nation’s top defense lawyer in 1998, and has an extensive publication record, including a book on professional responsibility. Additionally, Richmond teaches Legal Ethics at Northwestern University School of Law.
