Dr Nick Chapman

Dr. Nick Chapman currently serves as the Regional Director for Marine in Asia at Aon, overseeing cargo and logistics operations from Aon Singapore’s Marine Centre of Excellence. Previously, Dr. Chapman was a Senior Marine Underwriter at AIG, where responsibilities included underwriting and managing multinational cargo accounts, and served as the Marine Risk Consulting Manager in the UK. Earlier experience includes roles at FM Global as a Senior Cargo Risk Engineer and Cargo Risk Engineer II, focusing on risk management across EMEA and Asia, and consultancy positions at Brookes Bell Group and CWA International Ltd. Dr. Chapman holds a Ph.D. in Plant Science and Soil Physics and a BSc in Biology from Durham University.
