Mark Skanes is currently the Vice President of Surety at Aon, having joined the company in 2025. Prior to this role, they served as Regional Manager at The Guarantee Company of North America from 1995 to 2012 and held the position of General Manager, East at Western Surety Company from 2012 to 2018. Mark has also been actively involved in the Surety Association of Canada, serving as Chair from 2021 to 2023 and currently as a Board Member since 2012. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration and Management at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
