Roger Smeets

Roger Smeets has extensive experience in the insurance and financial services industry, with a career spanning from 1995 to the present. Since 2007, Roger Smeets has held various leadership positions at Aon, culminating in the role of Director Mid Market starting February 1, 2024. Prior to this, Roger served as Managing Director for Southeast Netherlands and oversaw multiple regional offices, including Nijmegen, Eindhoven, and Maastricht. Before joining Aon, Roger worked at Rabobank from 1997 to 2007, where responsibilities included managing teams in business insurance and serving as a Senior Insurance Specialist. Roger began the career at Multi Steel Maastricht as a Commercial Employee. Educational qualifications include a degree from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and participation in several leadership programs, including those at Harvard and Nijenrode.
