Nick Parker has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and manufacturing fields. From 2014-2015, they were a Research Fellow at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Institute, where they developed novel upper extremity prostheses. In 2014, they were also an Undergraduate Researcher at Cornell University's Creative Machines Lab, where they developed a motion planning program for 3D printers. In 2016, they were an Intern at Made In Space, Inc., where they created a custom motion planning program for an experimental 3D printer. In 2017, they were an Intern at Hyperloop One, where they led the development and deployment of a full stack web-app and built and deployed a distributed simulation of the full Hyperloop system. From 2018-2020, they were the Founder of Praxis Manufacturing, a next day delivery 3D printing service for engineers and designers in NYC. Nick also developed a proprietary 5-axis tool-switching FFF 3D Printer. Currently, they are the Lead System Architect at AON3D.
Nick Parker attended Westmont High School from 2010 to 2014, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Digital Geometry from Cornell University between 2014 and 2018.
