Varleisha Lyons

Varleisha Lyons, PhD, OTD, OTR/L, is an accomplished speaker, author, and executive leader with extensive experience in organizational management, emphasizing diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, access, belonging, and ethics. Currently serving as the Vice President at the American Occupational Therapy Association, Varleisha previously held several notable roles, including Associate Professor and Chair of the Master's in Occupational Therapy Program at Wesley College, and Assistant Professor at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. As the founder of Universal Progressive Therapy, Varleisha demonstrated a commitment to innovative therapy practices. Varleisha's educational background includes a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and a Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy from prestigious institutions.
