Ivan McKenzie

Ivan McKenzie is an experienced Security Technician currently working at Aotea Security (NZ) Ltd since May 2021. With a career spanning over three decades, Ivan previously held a similar role at Nelson Alarms from March 2016 to May 2021. From March 2012 to November 2016, Ivan served in multiple supervisory capacities, including Senior Pilot Technician, at Oceaneering. Prior to that, from September 2006 to March 2012, Ivan was the Workshop Manager at Kongsberg Maritime. Ivan's journey began at Oceaneering in 1998 as a pilot technician, advancing to Technical Manager for the Singapore Office by 2003. Ivan's foundational experience includes serving as a Telecommunications Engineer for the New Zealand Defence Force from 1989 to 1998. Additionally, Ivan has pursued various technical training programs, notably in camera service and sonar training with Kongsberg Maritime, enhancing skill sets relevant to the security and telecommunications sectors.
