Andreas Hartmann

Neurologist

Andreas Hartmann is a neurologist at APHP, where they have specialized in movement disorders since returning to Paris in 2003 after completing their internship in Germany. Their postdoctoral work on Parkinson's disease in Paris from 1997 to 2000 focused on programmed cell death in its pathophysiology. They coordinated a national multicenter study on Tourette syndrome from 2004 to 2007, leading to the establishment of a French Reference Center for TS in 2007, where they currently serve as the coordinator. Additionally, Andreas was the chair of the European Society for the Study of Tourette Syndrome from 2017 to 2020.
