John Downing

John Downing started their work experience in 1991 as a GSE2 in the US Navy, where they served until 1999. John then worked as a Field Engineer at GE Energy from 2000 to 2007. After that, they were an outage supervisor at FPLE from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Maine Automation as a Gas Turbine Controls Specialist until 2010. In 2010, they became the President of AP4 Group and held this role until January 2021, when they transitioned to the position of Executive Vice President at the same company. In 2019, John started working as the President at Encrypted Grid and continues to hold this position.

From 1991 to 1992, John Downing studied Gas Turbine Controls in the field of Electrical Engineering at the Great Lakes Naval Station.
