Gary Xia is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the electrical and electronics field. Currently serving as the Team Lead for E&I Engineering at APA Group since January 2025, Gary previously held the position of Engineering Project Manager at Alliance Automation from May 2021 to December 2024. Prior roles include Senior Project Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer at Calibre from June 2008 to May 2021, as well as Control System Engineer at NZ Sugar Company Ltd from 2006 to 2008 and Project Engineer at Tamaki Control Ltd from 2004 to 2006. Gary holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from The University of Auckland and a Diploma of Business from Southern Institute of Technology.
