Liam Smith

Liam Smith has extensive experience in asset management and operations, currently serving as General Manager of Asset Management at APA Group since June 2020, with prior roles as Asset Manager and Manager of Operations and Maintenance in Western Australia. Before APA Group, Liam held various management positions at Alcoa from April 2010 to June 2020, including Maintenance Manager and Production Superintendent, driving significant improvements in operational efficiency and achieving record production outputs. Liam's earlier career includes engineering and project management roles with Leighton Asia and Main Roads Western Australia, alongside military service as an Army Reservist. Liam holds a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business and is currently completing the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
