Andy Howie

Andy Howie possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on production and operations. Since July 2017, Andy has served as the Lead Production Technician and Control Room Operator at Apache Corporation, where responsibilities include leading the production team, managing training and development, serving as Area Authority, and planning maintenance campaigns. Prior to this role, Andy completed a four-year apprenticeship with OPITO, gaining practical experience as a Production Technician on the Forties Charlie platform after two years of study at North East Scotland College. Academic qualifications include an HNC in Process Petroleum Technology and NC in Engineering Systems, both obtained at North East Scotland College.
