James Mechie

James Mechie is a seasoned mechanical technician with extensive experience in operations and maintenance within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Technician at Apache Corporation since December 2012, James oversees maintenance planning, execution, and condition monitoring for various critical equipment, including centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, pumps, and utility systems. Prior to this role, James spent time as a Mechanical Availability Technician at Ineos and BP, beginning in July 2000 with BP and transferring to Ineos in 2005. James's educational background includes studies at Falkirk College of Technology.
