Michael Hunter is a highly experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer at Apache Corporation, with a focus on deepwater hydrocarbon projects in the Guyana-Suriname basin and extensive expertise in reservoir characterization, simulation, and forecasting. Since joining Apache in June 2011, Michael has contributed to significant projects, including the $11B GranMorgu project as well as exploration and production operations in Suriname, Egypt, and North America. Previous roles include Production Engineer and Reservoir Engineer, where Michael applied analytical skills to optimize waterfloods and recoveries. Michael holds a B.Sc. in Oil & Gas (Petroleum) Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary, earned in 2011.
