Nick Rinck

Nick Rinck is an experienced geologist currently serving as a Geologist II at Apache Corporation since February 2024. Prior to this role, Rinck worked as a Geologist at ExxonMobil and as a Geosteering Consultant at Impac Exploration Services. Rinck has extensive experience as a Senior Geologist at Hoss Geosciences and as the Owner of Third Coast Geosteering, which specialized in remote steering with over ten years of experience across significant U.S. basins. Additional roles include Senior Exploration Geologist at J-W Operating Company and Operations Geologist at Apache Corporation, where important practices for operations teams were developed. Rinck began a professional path as a Teaching/Research Assistant and Student Researcher at Hope College, where two bachelor's degrees in Geological Engineering and Japanese Linguistics were earned.
