Will Talbot is Apache’s Cranes & Lifting Technical Authority and a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. They have led a LEEA award-winning team for Excellence in Lifting Operations in 2023. Previously, Will held the position of Cranes & Lifting Technical Authority at a North Sea Duty Holder, where they promoted a culture of safe mechanical lifting and contributed to BS7121 amendments. Will's career in lifting began in 2006 as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with a crane maintenance specialist, and they have since progressed through various roles in the subsea construction sector. Outside of work, Will enjoys mountain biking in Scotland.
