Travis Dobbs

Travis Dobbs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting with Nolo in 2002, they worked as a Tech Support representative before moving on to roles such as Business Systems Analyst, Business Systems Manager, and eventually Software Engineer. Travis played a significant role in migrating existing systems and introducing new technologies like Spring MVC and Hibernate annotations.

In 2012, Travis joined Certain, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed new features for their SaaS Enterprise Event Management platform and addressed security vulnerabilities. Travis later became a Software Architect, responsible for overall application architecture and the design of RESTful resource APIs.

In 2014, Travis joined UrbanSitter as a Senior Software Engineer and subsequently took on roles as Principal Architect and Vice President of Engineering. During their time there, they contributed to various projects and led engineering teams.

Most recently, Travis joined Apartment List in 2021 as a Principal Engineer and Manager, utilizing their expertise to lead and manage engineering projects.

Travis Dobbs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Kentucky University, completing their studies from 1997 to 2001.
