Brian Raney

Brian Raney has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily as a Co-Founder and CEO. Brian co-founded Awesome Inc, a startup incubator in Kentucky, in 2009 and continues to serve as CEO. Prior to this, in 2007, they co-founded and served as CEO of APAX Software. From 2012, they have worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at the University of Kentucky. Brian has also organized Startup Weekend events in Lexington, Kentucky, since 2008. In 2011, they co-founded and served as COO of BuildingLayer until 2013. In 2010, they co-founded and served as COO of AwesomeTouch until 2011. Brian has also worked as an instructor at Asbury College, SFENITY Software Development, KCTCS, and Transylvania. Brian'sexperience spans various industries, including startup incubation, software development, and education.

Brian Raney earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Brian later pursued further education and received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics from the same university, completed in 2006.
