Caio Barros

Caio Barros is a knowledgeable professional with extensive experience in research and project management within the fields of chemistry and biotechnology. Currently serving as a Project Manager at APC since August 2024, Caio previously held several roles at the NIBRT National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training, including Senior Research Scientist, Research Scientist, and Postdoctoral Researcher from October 2020 to August 2024. Academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from University College Dublin and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Additional qualifications encompass a Postgraduate Diploma in Regulatory Affairs (Bio) Pharmaceuticals from the University of Limerick and several professional diplomas in Project Management and Leadership from UCD Professional Academy.
