Shane McDaniel

Shane McDaniel has a diverse background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, with experience in various roles since 2002. At SK biotek Ireland Limited, Shane served as a Process Chemist from January 2018 to April 2022, focusing on the manufacture of small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients under cGMP conditions. Prior to this, Shane held positions as a Validation Engineer at Bristol-Myers Squibb, a Chemical Technologist at Ipsen, and a Technical Specialist at Abbott Diagnostics Business, where responsibilities included validation and analysis of test methods and drugs. Currently, as a Technical Communications Specialist at APC, Shane is supporting the digital transformation of research outcomes through the iAchieve platform. Shane's academic credentials include a Master's in Science and Health Communication from Dublin City University, a Higher Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Technological University Dublin, and a Bachelor's degree in Science from Maynooth University.
