Yannick Baehler is an experienced industrial software engineer currently working at APCO Technologies SA since October 2021. Previously, Yannick served as an instrumentation engineer at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne from July 2018 to October 2021, focusing on the development and manufacturing of research instruments in the field of renewable energy materials, as well as maintaining a solar energy storage demonstrator. Prior to that, from April 2015 to June 2018, Yannick worked at Novelis Sierre as an industrial computer engineer, where responsibilities included application development in Java, C, and C++, and database maintenance related to production. A bachelor's thesis project was undertaken at NASA Glenn Research Center in 2014, involving the setup of a robotic sensor platform for studying algae in Lake Erie. Yannick holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems and Infotronics from the University of Applied Science - Western Switzerland, along with a professional maturity diploma and a CFC in Computer Science from CFP Sion.
