Jane Barber has extensive experience in toxicology and oncology research, having held various roles in leading organizations. At ApconiX from September 2016 to the present, Jane serves as a Senior Toxicologist and previously worked as an Independent Consultant. Jane's tenure at AstraZeneca from 2002 to 2015 included roles as a Senior Molecular Toxicologist and Drug Discovery Senior Scientist, where key contributions were made to drug safety evaluations and novel in vitro/ex vivo assays. Jane's research background includes significant work at The University of Manchester on cancer-related checkpoint proteins and the successful development of transgenic models. Jane holds a Bachelor of Science from Keele University, a PhD from the University of Liverpool, and a Master of Science with Distinction from The University of Manchester.
