Michael Morton is a Director and co-Founder at ApconiX, where they leverage their expertise in ion channel screening and assay development. They previously held the position of Senior Scientist in Safety Pharmacology at AstraZeneca R&D from 2009 to 2013, and later served as a Senior Research Scientist in the Ion Channel group there until 2015. Michael has also completed postdoctoral research at Yale University School of Medicine and AstraZeneca R&D, focusing on protein trafficking and ion channels. They earned a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Leeds and are currently pursuing further education at The University of Wolverhampton.
