Advanced Power Dynamics Inc. (APD) is a Canadian rail-engineering and manufacturing company and a subsidiary of INPS Group Inc. With more than 40 years of group experience, we operate in Canada, the USA, Mexico and Egypt, delivering solutions to freight rail operators and industrial customers in both domestic and international markets.

What we do
APD specializes in the overhaul, upgrade and lifecycle support of freight locomotives, combining engineering, manufacturing, and on-site technical services. We are currently leading a major program to overhaul and upgrade 180 locomotives for Egyptian National Railways, working alongside local partners to build sustainable, “made-in-Egypt” capabilities. Through strategic alignments with our partner companies and global production centers, we develop and industrialize components, localize manufacturing, and support our clients with long-term technical support and training.
