Dave Giannini

Dave Giannini has a strong background in engineering and software development. Dave currently serves as the Director of Software Engineering at Apeel Sciences. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Chief Architect at TextNow from 2018 to 2020. Dave also held the position of VP Engineering at Pinger from 2010 to 2017, at Cogi from 2008 to 2011, and at CallWave, Inc. from 2000 to 2008. Dave Giannini started their career as an Engineering Director at Digital Sound Corporation from 1986 to 2000.

Dave Giannini has a strong educational background in Computer Science. Dave earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Later, in 1993 to 1996, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field from the same institution. Alongside their formal education, Dave has also obtained additional certifications. In 2008, they became a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance®. More recently, in June 2021, they obtained a certification in "Blockchain: Technologies and Applications for Business" from Emeritus.
