Robert Dahlstrom has a long and varied work history. Robert began their career in 1993 as an Auditor in Charge for the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Governmental Accountability (OPPAGA). In 1997, they became a full-time faculty member at Florida State University, College of Communication, Department of Communication. In 1998, they founded and became President of BluePrint Data, a successful high margin and profitable international OEM Internet Security company. In 2014, they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer of Apellix, a company that delivers precision-controlled aerial robotic systems for end-to-end asset integrity management. Most recently, in 2020, they joined the CompTIA Drone Advisory Council, working to increase awareness and adoption of business opportunities in the unmanned aerial systems ecosystem.
