Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith has a diverse range of work experience. Daniel began their career at Tower Laboratories, Ltd. in 2008 as an Operations Intern, where they worked on identifying production inefficiencies and implementing methods to improve them. Daniel also developed a new method for collecting operating data and identified potential changes in automation protocol to increase profits. In 2008, Daniel also worked at Cornell University as an Engineering Peer Advisor and Facilities Manager. As an Advisor, they delivered presentations to freshman engineering students and provided support to them. In their role as Facilities Manager, they tested laboratory safety equipment and constructed apparatuses in the chemistry building. Since 2011, Daniel has been working at Apelon, where they started as an Informatics Analyst and eventually worked their way up to Vice President. Daniel has held various roles, including Senior Informatics Analyst, Manager, and Director of Services.

Daniel Smith graduated from Hopkins School in 2005 with a High School Diploma. Daniel then attended Cornell University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. Later, from 2017 to 2019, Daniel pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Health Sciences Informatics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
