Michael Dobson

Michael Dobson is an Associate Director at APEM Group Woodrow, specializing in ecological assessments for lake and river management. With a background as a freshwater ecologist, they have extensive experience in senior management, project management, and freshwater taxonomy. They previously served as Director of the Freshwater Biological Association and have contributed to several important publications and identification guides in freshwater ecology. Michael's research interests include the impacts of land use on stream invertebrate communities, and they have worked in various tropical freshwater ecosystems across Africa and Central America. They are also a fellow of the Linnean Society of London.
