Jort Moermans

Jort Moermans has a comprehensive background in engineering and production management, currently serving as the Head of Production for continuous casting and grinding at Aperam since July 2021. Previously, Jort held positions as a Support & Development Engineer at the same company and as a Production Engineer at Pauwels Sauces from January 2018 to July 2021. Jort's career includes significant roles as a Senior Technical Superintendent at both Envisan and Jan De Nul Group, where Jort progressed from Technical Superintendent to Materieel ingenieur. Academically, Jort is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from The Lean Six Sigma Company and holds a Master's degree in Construction Management from Sheffield Hallam University, as well as a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
