Mark K.

Mark K. is a Mechanical Engineer at Apex - Spacecraft Manufacturing, with a focus on the design, build, and testing of satellite structures since December 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, where responsibilities included the design and testing of satellite structures and acting as the responsible engineering authority for vehicle buses. Mark's earlier roles include a Propulsion Design Intern at Relativity Space, where thermal protection systems for Aeon 1 engines were developed, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UCLA, producing computer-aided designs in SolidWorks. Mark has also led powertrain projects at SAE BruinRacing SuperMileage Vehicle, evaluated turbomachinery hardware at Aerojet Rocketdyne, and worked in various customer service positions. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, completed in 2021.
