Assistant Electrical Department Head at APEX Technical School

Aishwar Drepaul has a diverse range of work experience in the electrical field. Aishwar started their career as an Apprentice Electrician at Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc in 2007 and worked there until 2012. During this time, they gained experience assisting journeyman electricians, preparing work areas, and delivering materials.

Following this, Aishwar worked as an Electrical Technician and later as an Electrical Instructor at Mahaicony Technical and Vocational Training Centre from 2012 to 2016. In these roles, they troubleshooted, repaired, calibrated, designed circuits, and fabricated electronic test equipment. Additionally, they promoted a positive classroom environment, maintained discipline, and adequately prepared for instruction.

In 2017, Aishwar joined Roshan Electrical as an Electrical Helper, where they installed sound systems, security systems, voice and data systems, lighting, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers. Aishwar also threaded conduit ends and connected couplings and conduit fittings.

During the same year, Aishwar also worked at Prime Motor Repairs as an Electric Motor Mechanic, testing, repairing, rebuilding, and assembling electric motors, generators, and equipment. Aishwar also repaired and rebuilt defective mechanical parts in electric motors and generators.

Most recently, Aishwar worked at APEX Technical School, starting in 2017. Aishwar began as an Electrical and Advance Electrical Instructor, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Aishwar also read technical diagrams and blueprints and performed general electrical maintenance. In 2021, they were promoted to Assistant Electrical Department Head, where they developed curriculum, trained new instructors, collaborated with staff members, and ensured that student reports aligned with program outcomes.

Overall, Aishwar has gained expertise in electrical installations, repairs, teaching, workshop management, and curriculum development throughout their career.
