Richard Asher

Richard (Matt) Asher has extensive work experience in the plastics industry spanning over 29 years. Richard (Matt) has held various roles in different companies, including Vice President of Operations, Automation Engineer, Senior Engineer, Project Engineering Manager, Director of Facilities and Automation, Compression Molding Lead Process Engineer, Compression Molding Process Engineer, Facilities and Automation Engineer, Compression Molding Controls Engineer, Divisional CIM Coordinator, and Shuttle Process Engineer. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for project management, production line support, automation system programming and design, process improvement projects, capital project management, and coordination of major automation and facilities projects. Richard (Matt) has also supervised teams and managed the smooth launch of new products. Richard (Matt) Asher's expertise includes working with thermoforming, injection molding, compression molding, thermoset molding, shuttle blow molding, wheel blow molding, carton automation, plastic closure finishing automation, vision inspection, large-scale project management, and computer-aided design.

Richard (Matt) Asher has a high school education from Defiance Senior High, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Richard (Matt) later pursued a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree in Electronic Engineering from The University of Toledo, from 1988 to 1993.
