Gynene Sullivan is an experienced communications manager currently serving as the Manager of Communications at the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) since March 2016, overseeing student interns and managing the production of scientific publications. Prior to APHL, Gynene worked for the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in various roles, including Associate Director of Design & Production, where a transition to a hybrid communications strategy was implemented, and as a Paralegal in the Clinical Law Program. Gynene has also held leadership positions within the Council of University System Staff (CUSS), serving as Vice Chair and Chair, representing the University of Maryland, Baltimore campus. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore, a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the Community College of Baltimore County, and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
