Jill Merrick is the President of Merrick Communications and has served as the Coordinator for the National 50th Anniversary Newborn Screening Awareness Campaign at the Association of Public Health Laboratories since September 2001. The campaign focuses on enhancing awareness and implementation of newborn screening, which can identify life-threatening conditions immediately after birth. Additionally, Jill Merrick worked as a Communications Consultant for the Gender and Development Department at The World Bank from March 2006 to June 2011, where strategic communication planning and event coordination were pivotal in promoting the initiative "Gender Equality is Smart Economics," aimed at empowering women and adolescent girls in the developing world.
