Brian Mesmer

Brian Mesmer, CSP, CRIS, currently serves as the Corporate Safety Leader at APi Group since January 2020. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Regional Safety Manager at Western States Fire Protection from March 2008 to January 2020, where a team of four safety professionals worked on construction safety across 26 locations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Fire Protection Engineer at Poole Fire Protection from January 2007 to February 2008, focusing on risk analysis, hazard assessment, and the design of fire suppression and detection systems. Brian began a career in safety as a Safety Intern at American Century Investments in 2005, assisting with safety training and claims management. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Fire Protection and Safety Technology from Oklahoma State University and studies at The University of Kansas.
