Emily Spector

Emily Spector, CPP has over 19 years of experience in payroll across various industries. Emily currently serves as the Segment Payroll Director at APi Group since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Payroll Manager at Western States Fire Protection from May 2014. From 2010 to 2014, Emily held multiple roles at TransMontaigne, including Payroll Specialist, FPC, CPP and Payroll Administrator. In their earlier career, they worked as a Payroll Administrator at Accountemps from January 2009 to March 2010, and as a Payroll Specialist at Scott Lowery Law Office from December 2006 to December 2007. Emily began their payroll career at LONG Building Technologies, where they worked as a Payroll Specialist from July 2001 to August 2004. Throughout their work experience, Emily has demonstrated expertise in all aspects of payroll, including time sheet verification, tax calculations, direct deposits, garnishments, benefit deductions, and check processing. Emily also has experience with HR projects and employee training.

Emily Spector, CPP has an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from College America, obtained from 1997 to 1999. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued the Payroll Certification program at Excelsior's Center for Professional Development. Additionally, they hold certifications such as the Certified Payroll Professional and the Fundamental Payroll Certificate, both obtained in December 2012 from the American Payroll Association.
