Shane Born

Shane Born is an accomplished culinary professional currently serving as an Executive Chef at APi Group since April 2024, and as a Co-Founder of Dubai Chefs Collective alongside James Knight Pacheco since April 2020, where the focus lies on fostering community and support among chefs in Dubai. With extensive experience, Shane has held positions such as Executive Chef at Born's Kitchen, which specializes in boutique cooking classes and catering, as well as Chef De Cuisine at Atlantis Resorts and Head Chef for the Australian Pavilion at Expo 2020, where recognition was achieved as a What's On Winner for Best Food Concept. Previous roles include Executive Chef at Bidi Bondi and ownership of a pop-up restaurant, showcasing a diverse and rich culinary background. Shane holds a High School Diploma from Berkshire School, obtained in 2007.
