Eugene Yu

Eugene Yu has extensive work experience in the engineering and management roles in various companies. Eugene is currently the Global Engineering Director - Engine Cooling Products at API Heat Transfer since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Director, Unitary Water-based Product Management at Ingersoll Rand HVAC Transport Asia Pacific & India, Ingersoll Rand (China) Investment Co., Ltd from 2016 to 2019. From 2012 to 2016, they served as the Senior Program Manager at Climate Solutions (CS) Sector, Ingersoll Rand (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Eugene also worked at Ingersoll Rand Engineering & Technology Center AP (IRETC-AP) as the Residential Solutions (RS) China Engineering leader and IRETC-AP Operational Excellence leader from 2009 to 2012. Before that, they were the Engineering Manager, Global Factory Technical Support at Trane Asian Sourcing & Design center from 2004 to 2008, and a Project Engineer at Trend Technologies in 2003.

Eugene Yu received their BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jilin University of Technology in 1993. Eugene then pursued further education, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business management, general from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, they attended the Mechanical Engineering School at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they focused on Project Management.
