Thomas Gerbier

Thomas Gerbier is an experienced engineering manager currently overseeing the Object Storage team at Scaleway since July 2024. Prior to this role, Thomas served as the head of infrastructure at api.video since April 2021, where responsibilities included building a team of 10 engineers, executing infrastructure planning, and ensuring platform stability and evolution. From May 2016 to April 2021, Thomas managed the infrastructure operations team at Dailymotion, focusing on project delivery in an agile environment and fostering a DevOps mindset among team members. Earlier experience includes serving as a lead engineer at Dailymotion where Thomas improved infrastructure supervision and integrated new services, and as a system and network engineer at Arkena, enhancing industrial processes for CDN platforms.
