Ashar Shahid

Ashar Shahid is an experienced open source protocol developer currently working at API3 since February 2021, contributing as an OEV litepaper author and on the Request Response Protocol for airnodes. Previously, Ashar held a short-term position as a Founders Fellow in Open Source at Primary Venture Partners and co-founded SwipeUp News, a platform that aggregates verified news from over 50 sources for various regions, serving as its lead developer. Additional experience includes a software developer role at DNA, co-founding LastCampus.com to enhance student connectivity, and contributing as a developer and technical volunteer for Amunotes.com. Ashar holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.
