Terrie Lee

Volunteer

Terrie Lee, RN, MS, MPH, CIC, FAPIC, has an extensive background in infection control and public health. Currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the International Federation of Infection Control (IFIC), Terrie served as President from July 2014 to December 2020 and is currently the Chair of the IFIC Conferences Committee. As a consultant for APIC Consulting Company since December 2009 and a long-term volunteer with APIC - National Headquarters, Terrie was recognized as a Fellow of APIC in 2016 and held the position of President in 1995. From August 1980 to June 2021, Terrie was the Director of Infection Prevention & Employee Health at Charleston Area Medical Center Health System. Additionally, Terrie was involved with the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, serving on the Board of Directors and as President in 2011. Education includes a Master of Public Health from The Ohio State University, a Master of Science in Management/Health Care Administration from West Virginia College of Graduate Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science from Alderson Broaddus University.
