Jan Verbeke

Jan Verbeke has over 20 years of work experience. Jan started their career in 1999 as Co-Founder and Board Member of AE, a consultancy company specialising in digital transformation. Jan also served as Senior Partner at AE. In 2008, they became CIO at Hessenatie Logistics. In 2011, they were appointed as Operational Director at c-Quilibrium. In 2016, they became President of the Board at Mammae. In 2017, they were appointed as President of the Board at ThorbiQ, a BIM application platform, and at sympl, an online recruitment office. Jan also became Dealguide at Business Angels Network Vlaanderen (BAN Vlaanderen) and President of the Board at APICbase.com, a cloud-based food management platform. In 2020, they became President of the Board at Resilient Security.

Jan Verbeke obtained a Civil Engineer degree from KU Leuven between 1978 and 1984 with a field of study in Computer Sciences. In 2016, they attended Guberna and obtained certifications in Director Effectiveness, Board Effectiveness, and Board Simulation. Jan also holds certifications from GUBERNA - Instituut voor Bestuurders/Institut des Administrateurs, EXIN, and APM Group for Guberna Certified Director, ITIL V3 Foundation, and Prince2 Foundation, respectively.
