Christos Volos

Professor

Dr. Christos Volos, born in Athens in 1975, is currently a Full Professor at the Laboratory of Nonlinear Systems, Circuits & Complexity in the Department of Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. They earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physics, a Master’s in Electronics, and a Ph.D. in Nonlinear Electronic Circuits from the same institution between 1994 and 2008. Dr. Volos has served as an Instructor and later as an Assistant Professor before advancing to Associate Professor in 2020 and Professor in 2025. Their research interests encompass chaotic electronics, secure communications, and measurement systems, complemented by contributions to over 80 scholarly publications and participation in various funded projects.
