Dimitra Dafou

Dimitra Dafou is an accomplished Associate Professor in Biochemistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a focus on the HNF4a and miR24 molecular network in Hepatocellular Carcinoma. With a career spanning over two decades, Dimitra's experience includes positions as a Research Fellow at King's College London and a Post-Doctoral Scientist at University College London, particularly in the Translational Research Laboratory within the Cell Biology group. Earlier in the career, Dimitra served as a Research Scientist at Queen Mary, University of London. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cancer Genetics and an MSc in Medical Genetics and Immunology from Brunel University of London, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Liverpool.
